What the Terms and Conditions of Sale are about
The Terms and Conditions of Sale are set out in full on the rest of this page. They cover prices, ordering, payment and the dispatch of goods and services. They also describe our commitment to provide goods and services of merchantable quality and to refund your payment if those goods or services are faulty or not what you ordered. They tell you what to do if an item is faulty or doesn't arrive in a reasonable time. They also describe how we protect your personal information and credit card details. The terms do not affect your statutory rights under English law.
According to the UK Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, shoppers must see the terms and conditions of sale before ordering.
SUMMARY:
- Goods may be returned within 7 days of receipt for a Full refund for any reason what so ever.
- Equally the order may be cancelled for any reason within 7 days of the order being placed. We do ask you to try and inform us as soon as possible to avoid unnecessary delivery charges.
- Delivery times can vary greatly depending on choice of Post or FedEx. We aim to dispatch within 5 days. but some items Such as our cashmere Rugs & Serapes tend to be within 14 days. If you're leaving your Christmas / Birthday presents to the last minute a quick email to agroves@glenprince.com will tell you if the goods are in stock and ready for dispatch.
- Taxes and duties are to be paid by the customer.
- For customers protection, security checks will be carried out from time to time. Please reply to any requests as quickly as possible to avoid delays in dispatch. Also please notify of any change of email address to the one supplied. Goods will not be dispatched if your email account is deleted.
- This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

- Please mark clearly on the outside of the carton that the goods are for RETURN to avoid unnecessary delays in customs
- Please note for returned goods which are not faulty we cannot accept your postal costs. No cash is availble at our dispatch offices to pay on return.
Prices
The price is shown against each product or service. That price is valid for orders placed at the time the price is displayed by the Glen Prince website. The shipping charge for an order is calculated according to the destination country and the total weight of the order items. The full itemised bill, including the shipping charge, is shown when you complete the order form details (including your delivery address) but before you are committed to purchasing.
Ordering
Orders should be placed using the shopping basket and checkout system provided on this website. Provided you enter your e-mail address correctly in the customer details form, we will e-mail you firstly a copy of your order and then a Confirmation.
Payment
We accept payment by Access, MasterCard, JCB, American Express, VISA credit card, VISA Delta, Switch & Electron. We also accept payment by cash & UK cheque &Bank Transfer. (Please note no goods will be dispatched until monies are cleared /approved).In order to enter your credit card details, this website will establish a secure link between your browser and a certificated secure server using our accredited online bank. Your card details will NOT sent for onward transmission to Glen Prince. We do NOT store them NOR pass them to another party. Glen Prince will not be liable for any loss. If you consider your credit card number has been fraudulently used you should contact the issuing bank.
Dispatch of goods and services

Up to 2 kg dispatch will be by Airmail for delivery outside the United Kingdom and by First Class post for delivery in the UK. Over 2 kg dispatch may be by Parcelforce Standard. Results of search services may be sent by e-mail.
Quality of Goods and Services and Returns Procedures
Our aim is that all Glen Prince customers will be completely satisfied with the quality of the goods that they buy from us. If you are not satisfied with the quality of an item, or if an item is faulty or is not what you ordered, please do the following.

- For returns please post as soon as possible.

In law you have a separate right of cancellation during a "cooling off" period. If you wish to cancel for any reason other than those listed in the previous paragraph, you have seven clear working days to let us know. If you wish to cancel under this provision, please e-mail us at cancel@glenprince.com. The seven days start the day after the goods are delivered. We will let you know the address to return the items to. You must return the goods to us, at your own expense and take care of the goods before returning them, or else make them available for collection in this case a deduction will be made from the refund to cover the direct cost of collecting the goods.
Refunds
When we refund a credit card payment, the amount to be refunded will be credited to your credit card account. If we recieve the goods back we will refund within 3 days of reciept. In everycase we will refund within 30 days of cancellation.
Responsibility for Local Taxes and Duties
You are responsible for payment of any Local Taxes and Import Duties levied in the country of the delivery address.
Application of VAT (Value Added Tax)
For EU countries (Including the UK) VAT is payable on all items, Unless a valid VAT number is given (Excluding UK countries). Non EU countries will not be charged VAT, but please be aware that local customs/ duties may apply.
Privacy Policy
We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the UK Data Protection Act 1998), according to the Which? Web Trader Code of Conduct and our own Privacy Policy.
UK Data Protection Act
If you order from us we will hold your details in our customer database. these details will only be used for processing your orders. You may have a copy of all details held by us upon request. We will not use or pass your information to ANY third party.
Retention of Title
All goods that you order remain our property until you have paid for them in full.
Complaints Policy
Our aim is that you will be completely satisfied with our service and with the goods and servces that we sell. Applicable Law
These terms and conditions, your order and payment and the delivery of the goods and services you order, form the basis of a contract under the law of England and Wales between you the customer and Glen Prince. Your statutory rights under the law of England and Wales are not affected by these terms and conditions.
